Fan Dies From Fall Over Railing at Rangers Game

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of Shannon Stone, the 39 year old firefighter who lost his life in an unfortunate accident at the ballpark last night. We are also thinking about and praying for Josh Hamilton; even though this was an accident in every sense of the word, I can't imagine what he must be feeling.

Hopefully, this will be a catalyst for better safeguards at the ballparks. This is the second ballpark fatality this year (that occurred due to a fan falling over a railing) and there have been several other serious incidences like this that could have ended in death.
