Spring Training Dates and Knowing Our Roll

I don't know about you, but with baseball just around the corner, I've got a serious case of Baseball Fever! For my beloved Phillies, Pitchers and Catchers report in 25 days.  When does your team report?

Feb 11th - Mariners
Feb 18th - Orioles, Cubs, Reds, Twins, A's, Phillies, Pirates, Cardinals, Giants
Feb 19th - Diamondbacks, Braves, Red Sox, Rockies, Tigers, Astros, Angels, Brewers, Yankees, Padres, Nationals
Feb 20th - Indians, Royals, Rays
Feb 21st - Dodgers, Mets, Blue Jays
Feb 22nd - White Sox, Marlins, Rangers

Checking out our roll, I thought that there were a few posts that might interest you:

- The Nats Blog is reporting that highly coveted free-agent first baseman, Prince Fielder, could be waiting for the Dodgers to join the party (their inevitable sale and pending TV mega-contract could make them huge players in the Prince sweepstakes).  The Nats have long been the favorites to land Prince.  There was also some speculation floating around that the Tigers could get into the mix; with Victor Martinez likely on the shelf for all of this season (torn ACL suffered in spring training), the Tigers will surely need to find a bat to complement and protect Miguel Cabrera.

- Folks over at Yankees Fans Unite give Yankees fans a run down of various articles across the internet, including this one from the Wall Street Journal, of all places, which announces to the rest of the baseball world that the AL East is no longer just about hitting.  They are also discussing the retirement of Jorge Posada.  Feel free to check the post that we did discussing Posada's eventual Hall of Fame candidacy and why we felt he was not quite Cooperstown worthy.

- BoSox Injection discusses the addition of Cody Ross.
